Coming Soon, The Number Cruncher — Book 2 in the Miller Crime Thriller Series

Are You Going to Offer Free ARC Readers Copies? YES! #

The Number Cruncher will be available on Amazon Kindle and in print. Current goal is to have the book ready for ARC readers by the end of April, and publishing soon after in mid-May ( soft TBD). My plan is to seed this out to those interested in a free copy (as an ARC reader, of course).

Why Are You Offering Free Copies of the Book? #

Full transparency, I am trying to not only get valuable feedback on the story, but also push the marketing via Amazon. I know, I know… no one like “marketing”, but it is how we get books in the world, and how authors get paid so they can write more books. Also, I am already in the planning stages for books 3-5 in the MiIller Crime Thriller series, so any and all feedback is very helpful as I develop this series/story.

Ideally, an ARC reader will:

  • read the book
  • post a review on Amazon
  • Pass on the word!

I am new to this process, and what I have learned is that there is immense value in readers posting reviews on Amazon, in particular right before the final launch of the book (then it goes on sale at Amazon Kindle and in print). So in a way, ARC readers—and anyone who likes the stories and wants to support them—can be part of the process by giving a tiny bit of time to throw a review my way. It really makes a difference.

What Else Can I Do as a Reader or Fan to Help? #

The most useful help would look like this:

  • Sign up for the newsletter so I can let you know what is happening
  • Post reviews on Amazon
  • Pass the word! Grass-roots marketing really helps
  • Read the books, and (hopefully) enjoy them!
